Week 9
This week I have completed a long sign for D&B restaurant. Unlike before, beside finishing the design, I had to write email and send proof to the client. If the client likes it, he will give a positive response. The first response I receive is OK, then he figure it out he sent me the wrong text on of the food. After I fixed and send him for approved, he gave me the positive response. He ask me when he can pick up the print, and we decide to let him pick up on Monday. Actually, we are able to get it printed by Sunday, but my supervisor said Monday is more flexible for just in case something goes wrong we still can fix it.
It is a long sign. I have to design them into two and the sign smith will assemble them together. Before I Design it, I was told to give extra 0.5 inch border and content need 2 inches margin within. These are what come out. It was a meaningful week because it was the first time I walk through the process completely.
