Week 1
I obtained my internship in Vida’s Graphic& Sign company. Vida’s Graphic& Sign is a small company located in 25 Canal street. It is a private company. Vida’s Graphic& Sign mainly produces signs, prints poster, flyers, and etc. in different materials and different scales. There’s a big range of company’s clients from small business to public organization and depend on what they need, the price will be a big vary. Vida Graphics & Signs was established in 2011, and they already have 20 years experiences in the field. I am working as a graphic designer in the company. According to Vida’s Graphic& Sign, Vida’s creative team has 20 years experiences and constantly updates their equipment and design knowledge. Unlike another sign companies who just responsible on sign product, Vida would like hired talented designers to create brilliant designs for clients.
This is the first week of my internship in Vida Graphic& Sign. My employer took a look to some works I have done and asked me to design a quick poster and quick logo. For this week, the main thing I have learned is realizing sign materials. 
There are 11 paper materials they provide to print. Base on different materials the client want, we have to make adjustment on the design. For example, perforated paper, you can see through from inside but people from outside can only see the image. Because it has many holes on it, you have to make the typography large otherwise the text will be hard to read.
I also refined a tag by using illustrator as well. They want to print the tag on phone card, and I have to do the as close looking as possible for printing out more.
