  1. Hey professor Vinokur I’m not entirely sure as to where we post our reflections after each and every lecture but since I can’t find any other place to do it, Im gonna take a shot in the dark and post it up here, our first lecture was a pretty good kick in the pants and served as a wake up call for myself, having been away from anything relating with radiological science for what seemed like almost a month, having said that Professor Vinokur executed what appeared to me to be an engaging and interesting review of the skull as well as proceeded to built on fundamental principles we had already learned, she told us this class is no joke and just like every class we need to take it seriously, despite feeling a little out of my element in the beginning I slowly got into and enjoyed the lecture, it gave me an idea of what to look forward to!

  2. not too sure where to post the reflections doing it here for now
    reflections
at the end of the class it was screaming out loud, hey Dharam you need to get your act together (meaning need to study)

    Hello Professor,

I’m not sure where to post the reflections so I’m posting it here, like Simon 🙂
I liked the first lecture because we reviewed last semesters lesson and made me to refresh my mind on what I’ve learned. I hope to have a nice semester~~ 🙂

    Hello ProfessorVinokaur,

I am just posting my reflections here, not sure where to post them.
I sure was thinking during the whole class that i need to hit the books and start brushing in Merill’s. But overall it was great to see everyone, talking about our experience in clinical rotation and of course, excited for this final year 🙂

  5. Professor Vinokur, could you please post what we are supposed to do here. I was under the impression you would post questions which we would answer, however seeing the above posts I feel like I may misunderstood.

  6. Professor Vinokur seemed to give a quick kick in our behinds to review and study.

I’m so confuse!? but in any case: first lecture was good and straight forward. It helps getting back on track with the skull series. The skull is no joke so I really need to study the material and practice the positioning not only on the dummies but see it in clinical.

The first lecture was OMG, i need to study. It was a refresher and i am glad we are getting the opportunity to go over it again !!!

  9. Hello Professor,
I’m glad the first lecture was a review of the skull. In my opinion the skull its a bit more challenging in positioning and knowing the anatomy than any other parts of the body. However, we are here to learn and overcome our challenges.

I hope that tomorrow, once in class, Professor will clarify more upon the ‘Reflections’ requirement she mentioned in our first lecture, that way it will clear up all this confusion on where exactly we must post it and again what it is that she expects, hope everyone enjoyed their time at clinicals yesterday and I look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday for the Rem Rad Club voting for officers! All my best, Tim

    Hello Professor,

I reflected on the first lecture and I do not see the post on the course profile. I was wondering if you could explain where on the course profile I can post my reflections.

    Thank you!

    Hello Professor,
I was wondering where exactly do we write down our reflections?

  13. Lecture 2 Reflection: Class today felt like more of a review of the projection of the skull than any thing else, having said that Prof. Vinokur built up on some of the fundamentals we went over and taught us this awesome double angle projection, in which not only do you angle the tube caudally 15 degrees, but you also swivel the tube itself to form an anterior angle of 15 degrees with the anatomic part, I’ve never seen anything like that before, and if an opportunity for that particular X-ray happens to come up I’d definitely wanna try that projection! All in all, it was a pretty chilled out lecture.

Hello everyone! I finally got back here in openlab account. The first lecture was so totally brushing up, since we had a month break I didn’t flip the pages of my book. Also in our lab everyone was totally away, we forgot everything. Thanks Prof. Vinokur for the review. The second lecture was very interesting.
