For our public health class, we went into an elementary school and attended their after-school program where we educated third graders on how certain foods can influence their oral health.  We customized the educational program to make it engaging for the children with interactive activities, games, and experiments.

I engaged the students and asked the class if they knew that crunchy foods are beneficial for their teeth, in order to draw their attention and raise their interest. Then, I further explained the connection between crunchy foods and oral health, as there are different types of crunchy foods and not all crunchy foods are good for our oral health.
