I have always enjoyed hand made type design. Well, this is a good opportunity to learn how to do it yourself.

Recently, I have wanted to create a video like this where type is just the protagonist of the video, no need for images or characters to demonstrate the mood and rhythm! Type just does everything!
this is a good inspiration to create your own video with just type!
I really like the originality of this poster. Its simple yet smart. The use of the lyrics from the theme in the shape of the main icon of the show while using different font sizes and placement really draws you in.
I thought this was really cool to watch. It must have taken a lot of time to cut out all of those letters from paper especially all the different kinds of typefaces. This was well put together.
Being the book lover that I am, I usually look for covers that catch my eye, like everyone else does. After visiting one of my favorite book stores, I browsed the shelves for something interesting, and this one was the one to catch my eye.
Other than the lovely line work of the ink and illustrations, what really stood out to me were the golden words used for the title of the book itself. The font is also eye catching and beautiful, matching the illustration perfectly. I didn’t purchase it yet, hoping that I could check it out before I do, but one thing it for sure, the cover gets an A+ in my book. No pun intended…
As someone who goes to Chinatown frequently, I usually see the facade of this Danish eatery. The restaurant wall features ingredients used in Danish cuisine with alternating Serif and Sans-serif typefaces. I like the alternation of typefaces because it conveys a sense of unity and grounding within the design.

Please check his website, it is beyond amazing!
You can also submit your work to be featured in the blog.

I really like this video of kinetic typography that i thought was relevant to this class. It keeps it interesting and entertaining as well as it sets the mood for the exciting beat of the song.
