How To play the Game

1. Turn on the GPS feature of your smart phone and allow the satellites to track your phone.

2. Open the app client and you will see the welcome screen which will display “Create An Account” or “Sign In”.

3. If you already have an account then skip the next step.

4. Enter a Username, Password, and School Email ( No Verification is required )

5. You will see  the Naam building of City Tech on a map and a menu tab with the options: Map, Profile, Single Player, Multiplayer, Friends List, Settings, and Log Out.

  • Map – The map shows the surrounding area just as it would appear on Google Maps, however the only difference is that the “Food Spots” would be bold/highlighted. (Discounted – Red / Non Discounted – Yellow). While viewing the highlighted “Food Spots” there will be a pop up menu once you click the food spot.
  • Profile – This option will allow you to change you avatar, change your user name, change your password, and change your email. Also from here you can view your stats and see the accumulated points you have in your account. You will also be able to view the total distance you have walked while using the app and you can view the total amount of money you spent while using the app.
  • Single Player – This is a game mode in where you will select the destination, the starting point, food interest, and how much money you have. You can then click start and the time while start going up and the points will start going down. Single Player mode will have Casual, Moderate and Intense difficulty as it is defined by the amount of time you have over the distance you have to get food from.
  • Multiplayer – This is a game mode just like the single mode however when you add friends to your profile you will be able to invite/join games with other students. The room which all of the students are in will be able to hold up to 10 people. From there each player can still select his/her food interest just in case not everyone wants to eat the same food. Finally the Room Leader can click start when everyone is ready and all the students/players will be off on their merry way.
  • Friends List – This option will allow you to add/remove friends by adding them by adding their email or username. From here you can also accept friend requests so you will have more friends to play with and eat with after the game is finished.
  • Settings – Allows you to turn of GPS if you only need to check your stats and you can change your standard zoom setting. Also you can read about us, and contact us via email for suggestions, questions, comments, and feedback.
  • Log Out- This option will log you out so either someone else borrowing your phone can use it to play  or they can just check their stats.
