The OpenLab at City Tech:A place to learn, work, and share
The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.

Class 1:
During the first class we went over the syllabus of the class, got familiarized with how the class runs, got assigned the first assignment, and created our class teams.
The syllabus is posted on open lab amongst many other topics. For example, on open lab we can access the assignments for every class, lectures, reference materials, etc.
Next, we learned how in general we will be using open lab to turn in assignments, read assigned assignments, and access other student’s assignments as well to help us complete our own.
Also, we created our class teams. Ours includes Jeffery, Chris, James, and Hakam.
Finally, we got assigned our first assignments that included our team interviews, creating our team’s website, and doing sketches of the site on Tillary St and Jay St.
