Marla had assigned me and the other interns to work on some digital boards for Farmer Pizza and Grill. I was excited to do this since I enjoy using After Effects. We pretty much used some of the food options from the menus from the restaurant to make digital boards that would be displayed on monitors there.
First, I had to create or change the boards and assets for the digital boards in adobe illustrator and InDesign. Then I put everything I want to have movement on separate layers. I then exported them to After Effects where I would animate the boards. I spent quite some time in After effects trying to bring these still images to life. Marla told us that once the video is finalized, she gives the client it on a USB, where they can display them on the monitors. I was happy with the results of my boards and did get positive feedback from Marla and the other interns.
