Sacatelle’s office is is located in Midtown Manhattan, on the West Side, close to Times Square. When one comes out of the elevators and turns in the direction of the office’s space in the building, a Ā television screen can be seen on the wall, with a 3-tier clothing rack housing just a fraction of the bags the company has designed and created over the years.
Once you step inside the office space, you can see a row of desks to the left of the space, most of which contain computer monitors with keyboards, mouses and even drawing tablets.
The work space typically is filled with about a dozen interns, and a handful of Sacatelle’s sales, marketing, and managing teams, all of whom start populating the office between 9am and 10am every morning, Monday thruough Friday. For the most part, everyone works within this open space, even the CEO/founder of the company. There’s a small office with a door in the back off the space, but that area is mostly reserved for meeting clients in person and on the phone, and interviews as far as I’ve seen.
The attire within the work place is very laxed. Casual wear tends to be the most common attire worn around the office, even by the top professionals. However, when necessary, the company head and other high positioned employees can be seen wearing business clothing. Ā Personally, I typically wear casual to business-casual clothing depending on the day and weather.
When it comes to lunch time, no one goes out at any specific time. Sometimes, all of the designers will take a walk outside to grab food from around the area and then return to enjoy their lunch. Other times, people may just get up and go to grab food to bring back to eat at the office.
The best part about working in the Sacatelle’s office, however, are Roxy and Maddie. They’re sweet huskies who get to come to work every day with their owner (the VP of Marketing) and get to hang out all day with all of us.
