I’ve taught ENG 1101 and 1121 (Freshman Comp I and II) and ENG 922R (Reading) at NYCCT since 2015.

I have been a Member of the FYLP (First Year Learning Program) and have contributed to five Learning Communities thus far, uniting my English 1101 course with sister courses in the departments of Communications Design and Math.

For example, in Fall 2018 I was responsible for an English 1101 Course in the FYLP that was paired with Typography.

In 2019 I participated in the first Professional Development Group (can we say “Beta Testers, anyone?”) for what is now the current English Department curriculum that does away with Final Exams in favor of a Final Portfolio and scaffolded assignments that focus on revision and student reflection.

I am currently teaching straight Freshman Comp. I have carried a full course load every semester I have been at CityTech.
