For both of my photographs I decided to take pictures in coins in different settings. For the high-key photo I tried to find a surface with lots of contrast and light coming off of it. I eventually found a widow that had wasn’t see-through but still let light in I felt like it was perfect and placed a nickel in front.
As for the low-key Photo I went to the library at a personal desk and tried to get as much shadow as possible. Using my hands and my backpack covering most light, I created a lot of darkness for the photo. The little amount of light helps bring the penny in to view and makes it a clear focus.
