Sleepyhead by Passionpit to me has an erratic beat but is also has a steady beat especially in the beginning. I thought of the song with geometric shapes that repeat on the beat. at around 0:40 i imagine it to be more o a steady smooth feeling and then increasing in pace as the song continues. Theres almost a high pitch wiring going on in most of the song and to me that represents almost a geometric or industrial shape.

The beat that is playing constantly throughout the song also changes from a soft or muffled sound to a heavier louder one. This changes how I interpret the song. To me Sleepyhead is supposed to be about a weird dream and the space between consciousness and unconsciousness. But also the high pitches worked into the song keep me awake and alert.
