First of All: This is the Online tutorial link for taking the CUNY Reading Test. We began to discuss this in class. It’s a video format that takes about 30 minutes of time. We can all do this together in class, if that feels more supportive! (CUNY, itself, supplies this as a warmup.)

Second: Here is a link to the pdf with the actual sample test question we did together in class. It looked like this:

If you follow the above link, you will find three more questions on page 2. Please read and do them as well — without looking at the answers — and come to class so that we can discuss them.

Third: This link is a summary of the concepts of the test. I will try to have a printout of this for you very soon, but you can also follow this link.

Fourth: This links is NYCCT’s page on the official test site and requirements. Here is a screenshot that shows the testing office info:

Fifth: This link shows the requirements for passing. Bottom line? 70 is a passing grade for the Reading Test.
