Recipe for working with kids:

Ingredients

  • Energy
  • Patience
  • Lesson plans
  • Smiles
  • Fun games
  • Listening skills

Directions:

  • Walk in with a smile to your kids
  • Have a positive energy because kids will feed off of that
  • Always ask about their day/weekend or anything they wanna share, kids have a lot to talk about and are often ignored
  • Make sure you have lessons/activities planned prior to your meeting with kids so everything runs smoothly
  • Incorporate the kids feelings and interest into the things you do
  • Lastly and most importantly have fun with the kids!

Note:

Working with kids especially younger groups takes a lot of patience, time, and dedication to the kids and their well-being. It is difficult at first but as you warm up to the Kids it’ll come quick and easy with no hesitation.
