let’s go back in 2007 when this baby boy started to read and write. I remember the first day of my kindergarten when my mom dropped me off and I was scared to death. I could still see that moment when she left me and I was crying mad loud because that was the longest day I had to stay away from her. As a kid, I was obsessed with colors which made me love drawing and painting. Fortunately, it helped me write small alphabets then later on my name, school name, and date which I used to write on my every single notebook pages. My dad used to take me to the roof of our house and used to show me flying birds, people walking, and the beautiful blue sky, and I had a habit where I pointed object with my tiny figure and dad used to tell me the name of it and describe how that works or why do we need that to survive and trust me I used to point a lot, but my dad discrimination helped me learn to speak which improve my reading. After a couple of years, my Parent decided to switch me to an English medium school, where the situation went totally different. For seven-years I was in Bangla medium and all of sudden got switched to an English and I was thinking now I gotta restart everything again? is that even possible? well, I started to read English books more and for speaking watched a lot of English movie. Days, years passed by and I started to adopt the language English better. But guess what I was wrong after a couple of years we moved to New York from Bangladesh which was a totally new environment for me, I had to restart my whole lifestyle even sleeping schedule because when its morning in Bangladesh over here is night. On the first day of my seventh grade in middle school which was ten minutes away from my house I was scared to go I was not a little kid anymore but guess what I did not cry this time when my mom dropped me. The first day in my English class I realized English is just not a language. There is a major history behind it and I only knew Basic English. It took me time to understand the writing and reading style of this country’s education because in my country it was slightly different. So this time my sister became my dad she helped me with my reading and writing skill. I always needed her help to writing an essay, because some of the vocabulary I could not understand so she used to create a scenario of that vocabulary with the meaning and show how to use that on a sentence. My reading and writing were not as good as much, not gonna lie but I am not a big fan of reading books unless I love the story a lot, and when it comes to writing it depends on the topic. but so far whatever I have learned from my parents, sibling, and my teachers I am grateful because without them my journey would not be an easy achievement.
