During my childhood when I learned how to read at a young age which my father taught me. I regret not taking the time to get better at reading since that would have helped me a lot in my young years. I would get a better grade in the state test for reading because in math I was good in that subject and even though I did well in it I wanted to do better in it.
I got used to reading a lot when I got into high school so I got better in that subject. A tragedy happened when I was 17 years old my dad died from cancer which hit me very hard so I was depressed for a while since it hurt my family a lot since that was the first time we lost someone we care a lot about which made me get to be more independent because of it. That made me lose some progress in my reading. I really could not focus on the words which did hurt my reading but as time went on I got back into reading which got me to pass my test that I had to take. My grandma and mom also got me books to read on my down time when I was not doing anything important.
When I read any book which will get my interest it gets me all excited for the next part of the book that I would want to know what happens next. If the book is that interesting to me I would want to know more about it. Books also help to teach me a lot about different things that I had not known about before like anything that happened in the past as well as people who went through change of life and want to tell people about it so that they will have an insight about what happened to them during that time. I have a lot of fun reading since some stories are fun to read and since it has a lot of information on things that could help me in my life and make sure that I do not make mistakes and learn about though and show me a new world as I read through the story. Sometimes the story turnout to be a good book and very interesting.
I am grateful that my father helped to teach me how to read. It got me into a habit that when I am bored and not doing anything also helps me when I need to learn something new and not know which is why I find a book that interests me I would want to know more about it and others as well. Reading also helps in my vocabulary since words that I do not know and it’s great to learn new things that I do not know at all.
During my time in school I did not know what I wanted to do in life. When I was in my third year in high school I got introduced to a program called stream they had many different program in Steam that I could had pick the one that stood out to me was Computer Science. As I want into Computer Science in Stream I found out that it became my passion so I study more in that field and what I wanted to do in life more.
The reason why I enjoy doing computer science is that I grow up around technology and my mom introduced us into computers so from there I start to learn about it more. In my junior high years I had one teacher who educated me on computers more then what I already knew which was very helpful for me before I got into the program call Stream. I wanting to be an engineer since I thought that was my passion.
In my two year in high school before my third years I thought that I wanted to be an engineer but when I got into my third year I found out exactly what I wanted to do life. As I want on time that in my third year I got fascinated with this program so I stay in the program for my last two years in high school and as it went on I was really grateful that I got into this program.
Now that I am in college I cannot wait to pick my major as Computer Science since it would make a lot of progressing which would make me happy that I got to learn more about what I need to know more about Computer Science. I get to figure out what can I branch of that I want to learn more in Computer Science to see what I want to choose from Computer Science column. I gain the knowledge in Computer Science to what path I want to take when I am done with college maybe practice some more on other branches.
The reason why I say I want to learn more about the other branches that it could be beneficial for me to have more than one skill. So if I know more than what I know now it would help me secure a good paying job because more understanding in the Computer Science column it would show that you are a hard worker in that field of work. So I am really grateful that my mom help out by putting me on this path when I was younger to let me find my interest in technology and with my school that I am in to further develop more of an understanding in Computer Science World that I want to study in will result in me being good in the Technology world. After learning all of that in school I could get a nice job to earn descent money and I am grateful to have learn that I have learn coming up this year that I have been in school.
