Week 12: My First Meeting

Ever since I started interning at Mdrn. Residential, I had been working on designing legal forms that will be used by the agents for various real estate related business. As I stated in an earlier post (I believe it was week 1) that the contents within the forms have to go through a line of people before any changes can be made to them, which prolongs the process, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. So far, Mr. Zach (CEO of Mdrn. Residential) thinks the forms look “gorgeous” but there are a lot of them that need to be destroyed. Mr. Eyal suggest that I should have a meeting with Mrs. Naomi (Operations Manager at Mdrn. Residential) and go over the forms to see which ones are to be kept and which are to be destroyed. Unfortunately, I will not be able to post a screenshot of the forms because they want them to be private.

I had my first meeting in the conference room and Mrs. Naomi was thrilled to see that the forms have come a long way. We were able to sort through over 60 forms and by the end of the week we completed them all and stored away the ones we kept and shredded the ones we did not keep. There were some things that needed to be changed in the forms that we did keep, so they were sent through that legal line and by next we I think I’m going to have a stack of forms in need of corrections. Mr. Eyal assured me that this is the most important part but also the most boring part, but it is better to get the forms out of the way so we can progress to better things. So, next week will be a slow week, but things should pick up after that.
