Deepfakes are fake videos, images, and audio generated using algorithms and artificial intelligence. Deepfakes have many positive implications. Despite deepfakes being beneficial to society, they are currently being used to manipulate the audience and misguide them.
The article explains the problems faced by community because of deepfakes, the solutions to resolve the deepfake issue which includes; Government’s approaches to deal with deepfake technology, Media Literacy to solve the Deepfakes, Generative Adversarial Networks (GNAs) components to detect deepfakes, and the creation of the Ultimate Deepfake Detection Architecture using Capsule-Forensics, Two-Stream Neural Networks, Deep Localization of Mixed Tampering Techniques, and Novel Counterfeit Feature Extraction Tech for Exposing FaceSwap, and our recommendations which include Media literacy and a Two-stream capsule network.
