My final design for my Ligature Design Project. I decided on reversing one of the “R”s connecting and lining up the crossbars of the R’s. I made opaque R’s behind the dark R’s to create a kind of afterimage effect. The red and blue stripes represent my favorite colors and make the negative shape of the letter D since my middle name begins with a D. The difficulties with this project is coming up with ideas to improve upon. I really like the way it came out and the font worked really well because of the thins and serifs.
