I would say my experience of writing dialogue is somewhat good. The reason being is that it is easy to write dialogue when you are talking to someone. But when I tried to write a dialogue during my free time I found it really hard to come up with an idea and how each person would talk. Because in terms of conversation there’s always to end. Your side and the other side. Also to take note of waiting a two-person dialogue in my point of view is often hard for me. Since I would end up using my own line and completely forgot about the other character. Also, the flow of the conversation would be often hard to keep as you keep constantly what would you or the person say during the conversation. So basically I feel like dialogue is probably the hardest for me, but I state that I’m doing good since its helping me improving my ideas more.

For me, poetry is a form of art. Each person has their own writing style of poem whether its haiku or free verse etc. In my own opinion, I think poetry is a hard writing piece for me. The being is that every time I attempt to write a poem I would always like it to rhythm to each other even though some poem is more open. Also, I tend to overthink what good words to follow the word behind so that I can actually give the true meaning of my poem. Probably the hardest thing for me writing a poem is choosing a style. Since there are many types of poems around the literature choosing one for my own poem often faces a problem since I can’t choose as they all fit perfectly for my topic. But at the end of the day, I like writing a poem. Since it both challenges me and allows me to connect to my reader.
William Ernest Henley and Lord Byron and Me (Ralph Lauren Ocampo)
The poem “She Walks in Beauty” is very iconic to highschool. Many English teachers would often assign this as homework and figuring out the meaning of the poem. The reason I like this poem is that it reminds me of my high school days. Where my friend and I often fooling around during our English Class. On how we argue the real meaning of this poem and why is it so popular in high school. The best line about this poem is when the author states “She walks in beauty, like the night Of cloudless climes and starry skies”. For this stanza alone. It gave me an appreciation of beauty. Where what I find beautiful may be ugly to others. But at the end of the day is just perspective to another person. The second poem that I really love since I was a child is a poem by Willam Henly title “Invictus”. The reason why I love this poem is because of the title. Where in Latin it means unconquerable” or “undefeated”. This poem gives me a feeling of being proud of what I have done no matter how hard life can be. For example, this line stated
Staceyann and Ralph
One of the poem that caught my eye in “Crossfire” is the poem call “TRAVELING”. The poem is about the people who travel places to places. Where they the train, the cruise ship, and the plane to get places they wanted to be. But what stood out on this poem is the context. Where Staceyann describes how the tourist act. For example she stated ” like they owned it more than we”. Basically she’s saying that some tourist are rude and their manners is out of place. I can relate to this poem because I travel a lot. And each countries that I go have their own rules, so therefore it is important to follow it because it shows a respect to the native people. Yes some tourist may be rude to others. The only reason why they act like that is because each of us have our own values. Where each countries have their own as well. Which what make our country unique to each other. This poem is pure gold to read. Staceyann and word of choice is absolute and keep me entertaining.

My experiences in writing a short story are somewhat difficult. The reason being is that I can’t really express my writings in a short story. I believed it would lose some content, for example, I may not fully write any details that should be important to the story as I try to keep short as possible. But what writing short story taught me is that I can create a story that would still have the same impact no matter short or long is it.
The short story allows me to imagine small things, like scenery, feelings and many more by just writing one sentence about it. It also the short story the one further gave me more ideas on how should I express my story by thanking the audience and writing only few sentences hoping that they would get what I’m trying to express. Therefore overall my short story experience is good for my writing. It allows me to look at other options without getting stuck on one thing. Which is why I believed writing short story further helped me developed my writing skills.

The current setting at my house is really silent. In fact, is so silent that you can hear the water rushing through the wall where it heads toward the bathroom and the basement. My house is so silent that every step you make the wooden floor is creaking with eerie noise as someone is looking behind you. But I did not mind the house being silent since it helps me reorganize my thoughts. Just to show how silent my house I can hear my brother all the way from the 3rd floor of my room, while he plays in the living room with his games. The only reason why my house sound so dead silent is that both of my parents work in the hospital. Since the coronavirus is spreading like a wildfire they have no choice but to stay for longer hours. Since medical staff is at their very limit. Which is why my house is so silent. that you can even hear your own heartbeat if you stay silent as well.
When That Corona Hit Hard
To be honest, at this point I don’t even know what to do. Yes, the coronavirus is affecting the whole world, but it also affects us individually. For example, due to this virus both of my parents are staying in the hospital to help the patients whether they have it or not. This means I have to take care of my brother, which could be a pain in the neck sometimes since I gotta cooks, do my homework and do the house chores. I’m also glad so far that none of my family members caught of the virus yet, but being in the front line like the nurses and doctor I just can’t help to be worry about my Mom and Dad where they have to stay for longer hours in the Hospital and where they have to take every precaution as possible so that they would not catch it. But since its a hospital god forbid that virus may infect them. Anyway, I hope you guys are doing well and fine. As you know we are actually a primary source on the future history book know (LMFAO). Stay safe and Healthy.
Note due to this coronavirus I can’t even order a pizza to my place. Feels Bad

The most embarrassing memory I could think of is when I mistakenly thought my dog was a bear during my camping trip. I believed I was eight at that time and it was my very first camping trip with my cousins. As you know the eldest cousin likes to play jokes on the youngest which is not cool. I was asked to pick up firewood in the nearby lake. And boy the first thing I thought that I would be able to find the Excalibur on the lake since it was being held by the lady of the lake. But I realized that my quest to find firewoods so that my mum and dad could prepare for us to dinner. Little do I know that my dog Richie which a saint bernard was following me the whole time. When its time for me to pick up my little firewoods I started to hear rustling around my area, as a child that thing was scary as hell since I’m in the middle of the forest, where my oldest cousin has no sense responsibility and left me. And that’s where I started running like a maniac and screaming like a banshee while a giant wolf is about to eat my little body for its dinner. Soon after I reached are campground everyone was laughing at me, since it was all set up by none other my grandpa who happens to own a lake house where we camping at. Which is why I believed that was the most embarrassing moment in my life. Note the next morning I did try to find the Excalibur but with no avail, I found a frog instead that I kept as a temporary pet during camping.

What I learned when I’m, writing my memoir is that I was able to express all the thoughts I been thinking in the past five years of my life. Where I can proudly talk about my past, which inspired me to create more shorts story that relates to many people. Also writing a memoir help create many opportunities for my writing. Where I can use all the feedback I got from my fellow classmates to create a better version of it.
This activity also shows me the importance of feedback and opinion of the people who are reading your piece, since you would be able to fix the mistakes you made and also reconsider adding more details so that the reader could understand your main point.
So far I have no bad experiences writing my memoir since all the feedback I got is the one helping me to create better writing for the future.
