OMG, this was awesome–both the website and the essay! You’re right, you do have a knack for design! You took your research (which was already well-done) and brought it up a notch with the visuals that and layout! Bravo! Plus, you hit all the requirement points!!!
My only suggestion for the site is the arrangement of the text–I’d actually spread out the information even more, so the reader doesn’t get lost. I agree with your idea about putting some info on yourself and the female rappers.
The process essay was great. I don’t have any big suggestions, just a few proofreading items, like putting the punctuation inside the quotes, like “this.”
