For my oral pathology course I took last semester, I wrote a research paper on Peripheral giant cell granulomas (PGCG). I talked about peripheral giant cell granulomas histology, etiologies, clinical manifestations, radiographic presentations, and treatment options.
For my pharmacology course, I wrote a research paper on the medicinal herb “Ma Huang” with its scientific name Ephedra sinica. This medicinal herb, although it may be over the counter, can still have serious interactions when taken with other medications. My research paper touched upon the several drugs Ma Huang can interact with, and how to modify treatment plan for a patient that is consuming Ma Huang.
