One piece that stuck out was “Hole in the Wall” by Jennifer Humala. I like the contrast of the elegance of the model and the old wall and torn brown paper. The subject is composed off center and in focus. It uses mostly browns both in the torn paper and the animal print coat. It contrasts with the old grey wall.

Another piece that stuck out was Gabriela Cruz’s photo inspired by Edvard Munch “The Scream.” I appreciate the interpretation as a reaction to pollution in the world. I notice how the winding dirt road mimics the brush strokes of the water leading into the sunset.
