Description
for this project we needed to theoretically build a series of flats in the shape of an “S”. As a group, we needed to provide build plans and install drawings for the flats. We also needed to solve the problem of determining how to make curved flats, and how to install a door that will not make a flat shake or move, when slammed over and over.

Analysis

There aren’t many things in this problem that would be different in a real world situation. Since this problem was based on a real show. There weren’t any noticeable elements missing that would be present in a real world scenario.

Application

From this problem I learned techniques about building and drawing curved flats. I will apply this to a show that requires building such a flat. I also learned about painting faux wood grain on a smooth surface.
