Summary
In this class nursing students learn about a variety of professional, historical, theoretical, ethical, and health related issues of nursing. Through debates and online forums, students discuss relevant health care issues. In this class students also learn to build a resume, a portfolio that enhances professional development.
Experience
In order to fufill my professional nursing advocacy activity requirement, I attended the Nursing Department Advisoy Commission. I just have to say, this event is very eye opening. There is a lot of networking done in nursing programs for them to run eficently. I also learned that there are huge oppertunities available abroad for nurses.
