About Me

While living in the Dominican Republic, I learned many life lessons at an early age. Lessons that thought me how the simple comfort of a caring hand can lift the spirits of the ill. I grew up surrounded by light hearted individuals, who thought me from a young age the value of nature, friendship, and the many ways one can live long and fulfilling lives, with very little money in our pockets. I often saw neighbors run to the aid of struggling neighbor, putting differences aside and without expecting anything in return. During this time I also learned the value of a dollar, and the essence of having honor behind our jobs.

Maybe that is why my path in the pursuit of a prosperous nursing career has not been deviated? Nursing is my chance to give back to those in need, my chance to make difference in this world that will outlast my lifetime. Many will consider me ambitious, but I believe that I am persistent person, a quality that is necessary in the nursing career. I believe that a person with goals has the most important tool for success, and that is motivation.
