Everyone,
I will be using the Module 2 page of under the Course Materials/Assignments menu. This page can be found here: https://openlab.citytech.cuny.edu/montgomeryarch1231sp2020/course-materials/assignments/module-2/
This page has the general description of the assignment as well as mockups of the boards. At the bottom of the page there are videos of the basic system and the full wall mockup for the assignment. Please review these videos. After viewing the videos, please comment on this post with a 100 word response/reflection on the system depicted in the video, including questions that you have after watching.

Module 2 Videos
Four videos are given as material for studying wall construction along an axonometric view of a masonry wall, plan detail, and section. T he said wall will be referenced from the Federal Hall Building ,Wall Street NYC.
Each video is a recorded visual process aimed at aiding/understanding the drawing process for the said wall.
The three dimensional stone and lintel video segment(s) show the entire process and parts that can only be seen assembled or exploded as though these were an actual assemblies and cannot be fully understood (initially) by drawn diagrams.
The videos are clear cut and dried, but it would benefit the viewer to read the accompanying text, because the process(video) can be understood well not just as a visual aid but as a technical lecture.
(See Iano and Allen chap 9 and 10 5th ed Building Fundamentals)
The videos must be watched twice and the reading passages twice as well prior to provide the viewer a clear understanding of the visual process given.
I will be using the videos to aid in the order of drafting the said module plates and will download them as a visual lecture for the said section.
