I really like how the concept map displays that architecture really gives a structure its essence. Such as how materials make up the building, wood, masonry, steel or concrete give a building different insides. Structure is the way these materials are used to support weight, weather and complex designs. But architecture is the whole point of a project. Architecture gives art to a building, purpose, and many different ways to interpret a space. This concept map is easy to look at but breaking up each category just gives a little insight on how much more architecture really is. Architecture is what people really see to be honest. Looking at a building the last thing you are going to notice is the Load bearing walls or the point load frame system. One would notice the materials after admiring the design of the structure but this is my way of looking at architecture.
