HI my name is Marie, but most people call me Maria.  I am currently graduating New York City College of Technology’s Dental Hygiene Program. I have been studying dentistry since I am 15 years old. Becoming a part of the dental community has always been a dream of mine. I have always wanted to choose a career that specialized in helping people. As my interest in the dental field began to grow, I knew it was the right career path for me. As a young girl I always wanted to be a dentist but I never thought I would be this happy and content being a dental hygienist. I’ve spent the past two years perfecting my skills and increasing my knowledge in order to provide the best patient care possible. The key elements in providing the best patient care include being as educated as possible and making a connection with patients and gaining their trust. Success occurs with both the mind and heart.
