I am writing this letter to express my interest in the NAME OF THE position offered at NYULMC Hospital for Joint Diseases.  I learned of this opportunity through the job posting board on C level at HJD.  As the enclosed resume indicates. through services in the post-anesthesia care unit, I have received many great opportunities to learn imperative skills and knowledge related to the orthopedic surgeries.  Practice, based on critical thinking skills, has significantly enhanced my ability to prioritize nursing care based on patients’ needs, and provide appropriate patient care and education with accurate knowledge in various postop situations.  With those skills, I have built up the capacity to create productive days resulting from strong teamwork.  This has endowed me a great sense of working with others through collaboration, consultation, communication and understanding.  Through these experiences, my passion is now focused on the challenge of being a pain/ortho nurse practitioner.  This opportunity could bring a positive influence, not only for my own practice of patient care, but also to the patients with chronic or acute pain, and ambulatory patients.
