Hi, I’m Cameron! I’m 23 years old & very passionate about Graphic Design. I obsess over clean typography, small details, and stunning layouts. I previously studied Computer Science at NYIT for two years until I realized it wasn’t for me. I then transferred to City Tech and I’m now currently studying Communication Design & working towards my BFA. Ideally my career focus will be UI/UX whilst also providing general graphic design service as a freelancer. I’m also passionate about music, fashion, photography, and competitive gaming.

COMD 2320 OL15 11310 Introduction to Video

This course is an introduction to the basic components and practices of pre-production, production and post production methodologies for content creation in commercial video and film. Students will learn the basics of all stages of production for content creation. The course will explore modes of communication such as commercials, public service announcements, fictive works, documentary and journalism. Students will analyze the fundamental principles of film and television communications with emphasis on examining the interaction of design and technology. Post-Production exercises with software such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects will be an integral part of the course. These assignments demonstrate proficiency in pre-production and production of content for film and video.

“Great photography is always on the edge of failure.” — Garry Winogrand An introduction to photography as a fine art and communications medium, from the publication of its invention in 1839 to the present, among Western practitioners. Illustrated lectures and discussions appraise diverse overlapping functions of photographs and view camera work within the history of art and culture. Changing styles, purposes and techniques are outlined chronologically. Additional Description for this section: We will examine the use of photography for aesthetic, documentary, and “scientific” purposes, stylistic shifts in photography related to aesthetic concerns, and varying interpretations of subject matter based on social and cultural concerns at specific moments in history. We will also consider the relationship between photography and the visual arts in general, which culminates with the primacy of photography as a medium by the late twentieth century.

COMD1123 Foundation Drawing, FA2020 Morning

An introductory course designed to explore the basic tools, techniques and principles of drawing. The course also covers projection systems, plans, elevations, sections, oblique, isometric, one point perspective and two point perspective views. Students learn to further render forms and texture through analysis of light and shadow and by utilizing the 5-value system.
