My name is Randy Anderson. i am hoping to enjoy my time as a student in City Tech. Fair warning, I tend to be a little nervous around others and attempting to work that off.
My Courses
MAT2440 Discrete Struc I, SP2019
This course introduces the foundations of discrete mathematics as they apply to computer science, focusing on providing a solid theoretical foundation for further work. Topics include functions, relations, sets, simple proof techniques, Boolean algebra, propositional logic, elementary number theory, writing, analyzing and testing algorithms.
This First Year Learning Community includes CST 1100 (Intro to Computer Systems), CST 1102 (Problem Solving with Computer Programming), and ENG 1101 (English Composition I), and is designed to leverage all three courses to produce an Interactive Fiction game prototype and a Game Design Document. It’s all about story-telling — characters, their world, and their interactions with that world in a non-linear narrative of our own creation.
