I’ve always been one to go with the flow especially, when it comes down to the question of “what career do I want to pursue in life?” I find myself somewhat envious of those who knew what they wanted to be or do since they were a child. It felt like I went on a journey to get to where I am today and even now I can’t guarantee that I would stick with the decisions I’ve made. After all, I went from wanting to learn all I could about computers and trouble shooting to web and graphic design. Not too long ago, that’s been changed to pastry design and before I knew it, I’m heading straight into food and beverage management. One thing I must admit, it has been an exciting adventure to get to where I am and I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. The best part of all is all the people I’ve encountered on my career journey. Nothing feels better then being the one to put a smile on someones face whether that someone is a guest or a member of my team and doing so gives me a great sense of accomplishment. From all that I’ve experienced I’ve realized that I may not know where this journey will lead me but I know it will be full of wonderful adventures.
