This model course is designed for use by faculty teaching MAT 1275 on the OpenLab – it includes a number of resources and sample assignments to help you get started. If you are a faculty member, you can “clone the course” to create a copy for your use, and customize it in whatever way you wish. For help with cloning and customizing, take a look at the online module Getting started on the OpenLab with Math Model Courses.

The Virtual Reality & Artificial Intelligence (VR & AI) Club at NYCCT seeks to explore the interdisciplinary practices and applications involving Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence, including Mechatronics, Robotics, Computer Vision, Internet of Things, and Embedded systems, as well as the social, psychological and political implications of such.

City Tech Astronomy Club members can use the 10+ Slooh telescopes to conduct and participate in live observation sessions through a web browser interface. Join the fun and have a blast looking at remote galaxies, newly created as well as dying and exploding stars, dark spots on Sun surface, rings around Saturn and craters and mountains on the Moon.

A space to build & playtest creative tech projects. Come make video games, immersive art, virtual worlds, VR/AR experiences, 3D models, and anything else you can think of — every Thursday from 1-2pm. All skill levels + majors welcome!

Every 2 weeks, we pick a new topic (apps, environment art, interactive fiction, 3D modeling…) and challenge you to make a mini project on it. Each one comes with tutorials, inspiration + download links— so you don’t need any experience to join. Find your favorite role, team up with other students for passion projects, have a support system for when you get stuck, and try something new.
