Bio

When I’m not teaching, I’m a writer, editor, and critic. I mostly love thinking about mimesis, or how reality is represented, in works of nonfiction. You can also find me rummaging around the archives or playing with my cat, June, in my free time.

Pedagogy Reading Group

Pedagogy Reading Group

This is a low-pressure, asynchronous reading group. We don’t certify anyone. We aren’t doing workshops or anything official. This is just a place where we can slowly read and talk about pedagogical approaches. Each semester we’ll pick a book and work through it together. Or not.

First Year Writing @ City Tech

First Year Writing @ City Tech

FYW@City Tech is a program and a digital forum for sharing curricular and pedagogical resources related to teaching and learning about writing at City Tech. The First Year Writing Program @ City Tech (FYW@City Tech) offers professional and curricular support for faculty teaching First Year Writing Courses (ENG1101 and ENG1121) at the college.
