Sandra Bland

Sandra Bland was a woman who was profiled and falsely arrested and was found hanging in her cell in Waller County Texas on July 13th, 2015. They have ruled it a suicide but she was very strong willed and if you followed and if you followed her on social media and watched her “Sandy Speaks ” videos, you would know suicide is not in her character. Bernie Sanders stands behind “Black Lives Matter” because he feels that on any given day some innocent person like Sandra Bland can get into her car and then three days later die in jail cell with no investigation, or second thought. In addition to that he believes we need major reforms in our broken criminal justice system.
