What is the FC/LSCC Publication Support Workshop Series?
City Tech faculty are cordially invited to participate in the 2023-2024 FC/LSCC Publications Support workshop series, with the goal of each participant setting a long-term goal and making substantial progress on their scholarly endeavors. The series may be of interest to faculty from disciplines where training is not typically focused on publication, to new faculty, and to mid-career and senior faculty seeking to reenergize or refocus their scholarly activities. The group will meet once a month. Meetings include a guest speaker on a topic of interest, as well as group discussions of monthly goals, progress, and challenges.
Workshop presentation recordings and PowerPoints and many other resources supporting writing and publishing are available on this site. Learning materials from workshops prior to 2020 can be found on the library’s guide, Resources for Academic Publishing. City Tech faculty can benefit from the library’s scholarly publishing site as well. Kudos to Faculty Commons Graphic Designer Savonne Andrews for our logo design.
* Meetings are scheduled on the second Friday of the month from 12:00 – 1:30 pm unless otherwise noted. They are hybrid; in-person attendees will meet in Namm 227 (Faculty Commons).
