Research compliance

Research compliance is an important early step in designing your research study. There are three core components:

Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)
Required training for faculty and undergraduate researchers via Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).  Questions about the CUNY Research Misconduct Policy? Contact City Tech Research Integrity Officer (RIO) Prof. Andrea Ferroglia

Conflict of Interest (COI)
CUNY Conflict of Interest Policy  requires that all grant investigators (PIs and Co-PIs) provide City Tech’s Office of Sponsored Programs with a CUNY Significant Financial Interest (SFI) Disclosure form. A copy of the form is given to City Tech’s Conflict of Interest Officer Ryan Chin. See Office of Sponsored Programs for more details.

IRB (Institutional Review Board) and the protection of human and animal subjects are under the umbrella of City Tech’s Human Research Protection Program (HRPP). See Office of Sponsored Programs for more details. Contact: Prof. Tina Kao :: F21 presentation
