I am an Associate Professor in the Math Department at the New York City College of Technology (CityTech), part of the City University of New York (CUNY). I earned my Ph.D. at the CUNY Graduate Center.

I am a passionate open-source community leader, acting as Community Manager for The WeBWorK Project and Co-founder and Co-director of The CUNY WeBWorK Fellows Project. I am also currently co-director of the faculty seminar for the Opening Gateways Title V Collaborative Grant.

I have also worked closely with UNESCO, specifically the Global Education Monitoring (GEM) team to support CUNY students in their role as youth ambassadors.

My main research interests are in quantum computation, combinatorial group theory and education and I am member of the math department’s assessment committee.
