Practice Reflection- Edwin Guzman

I agree with the information Wendy Berliner presented. I experience with teachers not letting me be curious in middle school a lot, i was a curious kid and would ask question for anything and teachers not taking importance of curiousity would just leave me more curious. in 3th grade was when i realized that teachers importance was education and not wasting time on our curiousity “Promoting curiosity in children, especially those from environments of economic disadvantage, may be an important, under-recognised way to address the achievement gap. Promoting curiosity is a foundation for early learning that we should be emphasising more when we look at academic achievement.” people actually think curious is important but why don’t they allow it in the schools, i feel it really depends on who’s the teacher because i had friends that their teacher would let them be curious but some wouldn’t.
