- Final Draft due tomorrow Sunday October 6 on the Google Drive.
You will also bring a hard copy to class.
2. Kudos to Derek who did a thoughtful peer review on Elaine’s RD! However, I am disappointed that many students did NOT do the Peer Review on the Google Drive. I am also disappointed that many of you have NOT worked with the Writing Tutors.
These were the final steps in the Writing Process and part of your work in moving toward the Final Draft. I am expecting to see major revisions as you move from RD to FD (Rough Draft to Final Draft).
Remember not to disturb your Rough Draft in the Rough Draft folder. Instead you should be downloading the RD with peer comments onto your computer and work on it in your own master file. Then you will re-submit your revised FD to the Google Drive. DO NOT DISTURB THE ROUGH DRAFT. I will be looking to see the improvements from your Rough Draft to your Final Draft.
As you work on the Final Draft:
- Study the Assignment.
- Study the Student Example Papers.
- Study the Checklist.
- Consider your Peer Review comments.
3. I have opened the Final Draft folder in the Google Drive. Go to Unit One Education Narrative / Final Draft (there are NO group folders this time)
- Title your file: Your First Name Last Name, FD
- Please use the Checklist to check your work!
- NO PDFs. Microsoft Word file only.
- No late papers accepted for Major Unit Assignments!
4. We are moving on to Unit TWO Monday, The RAB (Reflective Annotative Bibliography) which is a research project. The RAB has many moving parts. Many students have found it to be the most difficult assignment. We will be working on it as a Writing Process. Writing is a Process as you are learning. Do not let yourself fall behind!
I expect to see many of you step up your game.
