Hello everyone, my name is Ruth Chelsea Anghad and I am a first year student at City Tech! Transitioning from high school to college wasn’t easy but it’s exciting to start a new chapter. I’m pursing a major in Radiologic Technology and Medical Imaging. Growing up I didn’t know what I wanted to do and kept changing my mine. My junior year of high school I volunteered at a hospital and found an interest in Radiology. One of my dreams was to work in a hospital but never knew the major, so hopefully Radiology goes well for me.
I was born in a country located in South America known as Guyana. I moved to New York when I was one years old and I never visit Guyana but hope one day I’m able to see where my family is from. My first name was given to me by my grandma who loved the story Ruth from the bible. Other things you should know, I’m very shy and quite and usually don’t speak to anyone at first. I love traveling with my family and visiting new places.
Radiology is a difficult major but I am sure you will be working hard to acheive your goals! I hope you will gain more confidence to speak up in this class! Looking forward to hearing your voice.
