Main idea: 

In the article by Berliner, Wendy called “Schools Are Killing Curiosity’: Why We Need to Stop Telling Children to Shut up and Learn”. The main point of the article  is that schools don’t encourage student questions but instead are putting the students down.

Summary: 

To put the whole point together, schools are Killing curiosity by making grades the most important value of the classroom and making memorizing the material more important than understanding it.Then as the older the students get they realize that fact and find no need to ask questions.
