In the article named “schools are killing curiosity” By Wendy Berliner, the main idea is that teachers should encourage questions so the students can perform better. One quote in the article exemplifies what a teacher said to a student. Found in paragraph three states, “Zoe, no questions now. Please; it’s time for learning.” This is just one example of a teacher not allowing the children to be curious and to ask questions. Another example of this is which is also in paragraph three states, “Even worse, as they got older the children gave up asking altogether.” Furthermore, this is an example of children not being encouraged enough to ask questions. Berliner concludes that schools should provide more time for creativity and follow up on the children’s curiosities.

  1. Capitalize the words in titles: schools are killing curiosity — should be capped!

    Do not use awkward phrases like : One quote in the article exemplifies … Found in paragraph three states,…Another example of this is which is also in paragraph three states…This is just one example
