Identify Fabrics and Their Common Uses
The slide show shown below, was a project given to students to identify their knowledge of textile fabric. Each student was given a list of garments such as skirts, shirts, etc and were ask to identify which materials should be use in the construction of the garment. Each slide will show the set category and fabric component.
Synthetic and Natural Dying Processes
A final Term paper was created to explore the use of natural dyes and test the student knowledge of natural vs synthetic dyes. Students were instructed to identify a natural product that has been used for dying clothing and attempt to dye a piece of fabric with their knowledge from class.
