I would like to apply for the recently advertised R.N. position at North Star Hospital.
After several years of working in the field, and receiving additional training, my commitment to Nursing is as strong as it was when I got my first “Nursing Kit” as a little girl. I appreciate the opportunity to make a real difference in patients’ day-to-day lives and I find the profession endlessly interesting and rewarding.
I received my BSN degree in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999 and worked at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Urbana for four years, consistently receiving outstanding evaluations.
In 2005, I became a CCRN, receiving my Certification in Critical Care Nursing, so I will be prepared to assist in your rapidly expanding Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
I have also served on patient education and procedural committees and enjoy taking an active role in organizational development. I thrive on multi-tasking and take great pride in establishing respectful and supportive relationships with colleagues, patients and patients’ families.
