Where would this World be without web 2.0?  First of all, Web 1.0 was just the biginning of the new technology age and a lot of stuff was limited. Nowadays, Almost everything we do in the WWW is because of web 2.0. such as social networking sites, blogging, video sharing, web application and many more. On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages in web 2.0. For example, in these days people have to be really caredul when searching for something in net because web 2.0 gave power to almost everyone to go and write anything they want with no control at all.

Searching a book has become dreadful for students today in age. I know when I get a research paper the most annoying thing for me is finding a printed source. Like Badke, I also believe printed books will be rare in the future. It is important how to use library catalogs and journal databases because this will be the hardest part of any research essay. Once you have found the sources its as if your on auto pilot from there on. It is too easy to get stuck on the research part of your essay.

My first opinion on wikipedia before reading this article was that wikipedia was a site for students to get information about a question they had to do or jus information on somone or something. As I read this article I looked at wikipedia in a different from then I normally do. I pictured it as a place where you can get information that you did not know about. As i kept reading the article I did not know that editors had to keep updating there entries so that the information is kept safe rather then replaced by nonsense. i use wikipedia for information research and to find out certain information that i would never get from another source. As I look at such entries know i could not imagine how lost i would be if half of those things were replaced by false entries.

i believe that privacy is goin to change the way people are going to react and people will have no sense of being safe due to the fact that somone is always wacthing. google for example is changing their privacy act because they believe that it can help people to use the internet faster and be a presence. i believe that this is blasphmey and that people have a right to do what they want to do without being wacthed by somone or people.

the world is changing into a place where technology is taking over our daily lives. in the article about the coffee house it explanied how in the 1960s and 1970s how the means of communication was back then. it explained that people used to talk to each other and meet up at coffees houses to talk about stuff and gossip. it is now explaining that technology has changed and that we as people are revolutionized in the way we talk and our means of commuincation.

Web 2.0, was very different and very interesting for a site. It allowsed me  to share and interact with one another. this site was very educational and it is a site where you can learn alot about something you are intrested in. Many people use it for blogging, tagging, podcasting and etc. an important section for me was the bloging because it helps people to promote their stuff that they are trying to put out in the world . I mostly agree with it because it does seem like it would make a difference within the educational system.
