Hello class,

This is an announcement that the fourth test will take place on 5/10 at the beginning of class.

  • Closed Book Test
  • Material covered: Lessons 1-24
    • Assume anything on slides is covered.
  • No cell phones
    • Submit your cell phone to me to receive test paper.
  • Bring a TI-84+ Calculator to the test.
    • Borrow one from the library if need be.
      • The Library opens at 8:30am I believe.
      • If you can’t get one on the day of, get it the day before.
      • I may accept you writing out the button press combinations.
      • I may accept code as written on the screen.
  • *NEW* Formula Sheet
    • Submit by the end of class Thursday 5/5. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
    • You will be granted one \begin{math}8\frac{1}{2}”\times 11″\end{math} sheet.
    • You can have formulas, calculator steps, and hypothesis testing steps.
    • You cannot have a solved question relevant to this class on your formula sheet.

  • Probability (ALL OF IT)
  • Counting, Permutations, and Combinations
  • Hypergeometric Distribution
  • Discrete Random Variables (Expected Value, Standard Deviation)
  • Binomial Probability Distribution
  • Standard Normal Probability
  • Central Limit Theorem
  • Hypothesis Testing
    • critical value/ p-value approaches accepted
    • Normal and T- Distribution
    • two-tailed, left tail, right tail

Be sure to be good with calculator use.
