Hello class,

This is an announcement that the first test will take place on 2/24 at the beginning of class.

  • Closed Book Test
  • Material covered: Lessons 1-5
    • Assume anything on HOMEWORK is covered.
    • Assume anything on slides is covered.
  • No cell phones
    • Submit your cell phone to me to receive test paper.
  • Bring a TI-84+ Calculator to the test.
    • Borrow one from the library if need be.
      • The Library opens at 8:30am I believe.
      • If you can’t get one on the day of, get it the day before.
    • I am currently formalizing how to accept calculator work with other professors.
      • I may accept you writing out the button press combinations.
      • I may accept code as written on the screen.

Topics to study (Assume that topics additional topics may be assessed, some topics might not be assessed)

  • Definitions- additional definitions
  • Modeling Data- stem and leaf, bar graph, circle graph, histogram, box-and-whisker.
  • Average and variation of data
  • Linear Regression

Be sure to be good with calculator use.
