The most important concept taught this week in the Learning Community 1290 was:
- Being On Time
- Don’t use your Revit file directly from your USB Save it to the Server first
- How to crash your computer
- Uploading To much on the computer

Week 3 and 4:
What is the most important concept taught this week?
• In these two weeks as we continued to work in Revit, we learned how to place footing, columns at grid within our gymnasium building.
• And understanding how the foundation wall system works, being the load barer in a sense and from there transferring it to the footing to the earth.
• Also How to setup our page to fit your drawings.
What is your most important question moving forward?

Week 5:
What is the most important concept taught this week?
• This week was pretty exciting! We were thought how to add levels to our building design in Revit.
• Also we were thought how to add precast and concrete base and sweeps the multi-use space masonry wall, so that we can use this same method to do out own façade design.
• Oh and also how to properly place a precast copping on the outside walls for a flat roof.
What is your most important question moving forward?

Week 6:
What is the most important concept taught this week?
• This week we finally learnt how to place windows in our gym.
• And in mean time as we work in Revit we are also talking about our case study, and learning how to present our drawing so that they speak for them selves.
What is your most important question moving forward?

Week 7:
What is the most important concept taught this week?
• This week we focused more on our roofs! Through our tutorial with professor we worked on a simple flat roof. And from there we as a team and individuals design our own on a more complex level.
• And understanding how the foundation wall system works, being the load barer in a sense and from there transferring it to the footing to the earth.

Week 9:
What is the most important concept taught this week?
• Well this week we finally started Auto CAD
• We were thought a lot of commands in Auto CAD, and how to become a bit more efficient in it, and the simplest what to get to a command.
• But most importantly we began to learn understand how to begin our own precast panels designs from our in class run through with prof.
What is your most important question moving forward?
• Why do more firms seem to prefer when a student as an intern knows Auto CAD, rather than Revit?
Week 10:
What is the most important concept taught this week?
• This week we continued in Auto CAD, working on our brick layout and how to fix them so that they line up properly with the windows.
What is your most important question moving forward?

Week 11:
What is the most important concept taught this week?
• This week was awesome! Back to Revit. We learned about curtain walls and we added it in to our designs.
• And also how to print in PDF, well I think it transferring a file into PDF so that we can manipulate its size therefore being able to print it bigger.
